Cultural Life
Arts and Culture form a substantial part of the Epworth curriculum. In keeping with our vision of educating the whole person – soul, body and mind – the school has a long and proud tradition of excellence in Visual Arts, Drama, Music and Ballet (these subjects can be taken as Matric Subjects.)

Visual Art
Epworth is known for the amazing quality of art that our girls produce. The Art Department aims to develop the skills necessary for visual communication in a manner which ensures that the joys of discovery are kept alive. This teaches the girls to communicate effectively through the language of Art. Our annual school Art Exhibition is a highlight on the school calendar.
Drama
Epworth has an active Drama department, which produces a number of performances throughout the year. This gives the girls the opportunity to act in plays, sing in musicals and dance in contemporary shows. Drama at Epworth aims to develop communication skills, enhance self-confidence, and lay foundations in the areas of acting, movement and theory.
LiveArt Dance Programme
The Epworth LiveArt Dance Company produces exciting displays of a range of dance styles. They perform at Events such as the annual Millennium funk, where several local schools participate and produce a specialised dance programme
