Epworth has been supporting the Wildlands Conservation Trust “Clothes for Life” project by collecting and donating clothes. The clothing is used for bartering by those in underprivileged communities or for donating to disadvantaged schools or non-profit organisations. Makro is sponsoring gift vouchers for those who participate. Epworth recently handed over 445.6 kg of clothing to Wildlands which, as of September 2016, brings their total figure of recycled waste for the year to 13 458 Kg. Amy Webster of Wildlands visited the school to hand over vouchers to Jessica Randall for collecting the most clothing and to the Grade 8 class.
