Epworth upheld their excellent cross-country record by winning the 2019 Junior Midlands Cross-Country League for the fourth consecutive year and coming second in the senior division. Eight Epworth girls came in the top 10 in the respective divisions (five juniors and three seniors).

Epworth debaters Sunusha Moodley, Faye Crawford and Reabetswe Pekile participated in the South African Schools’ Debating Tournament during the December holidays. All three girls fared extremely well with Faye being ranked first overall junior speaker in South Africa. She was selected as a South African trialist for the coming season.
