Nicola Bentley is one of only eight U17 girls in the country to be invited to participate in the Growthpoint national U17 squash tournament in Cape Town.
Sisters, Nicolette and Rylee-Kai Challenor participated in the life-saving national competition and they won six and four medals respectively. Nicolette will represent South Africa at the Africa Championships in Egypt.
Melissa Martens and Rhys Purves were invited to compete in the SA national swimming championships; they both achieved personal best times for many of their races.
Crystal Viljoen represented the KZN Gymnastics Union as a rhythmic gymnast at the SA Gym Games at the Junior Olympic level. She competed in ball, hoop, ribbon and clubs. Crystal received a bronze medal for her ball routine and overall she placed fourth nationally.
Georgina Howard and her partner, Melonie Croeser, represented South Africa at the 2021 World Canoe Marathon Championships in Romania.
Zimi Tshaka’s trio from the Midlands Dance Theatre Centre came first in their category at the Move! dance nationals in Cape Town.
Sarah Jones competed in the rowing events at the South African Life Saving Championships and her team took the overall win.
